Meet Our Team

Amie Svec
Director of Project Management and Design

Amie has been in the interior design industry since 1992. She holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She was trained in Interior Design at the New York Institute of Art and Design.

She will help you define your goals, establish a budget and shepherd you through the process of designing and furnishing the office of your dreams.

Travelling and exploring new places as well as sailing and portrait drawing are just a few of Amie's passions outside of the office.

Krista Wright
Senior Interior Designer & Project Manager

Krista has over 8 years experience as a commercial interior designer. She holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design from The Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg. Krista’s commercial design experience and her background includes technical product application and project management, as well as providing consultation, space planning, specifications, and CAD generated installation drawings for various projects.

Outside of the office, Krista enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2 dogs and taking road trips to explore new places.

Marta Sawczuk
Junior Interior Designer

Marta has been with Office Designs for 3 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Columbia College Chicago. Marta’s responsibilities include developing product specific floor plans, coordinating electrical and data integration with furniture, providing detailed furniture specifications and installation drawings.

During her time off, Marta loves jogging and is training for her first half marathon. When she gets the opportunity, Marta travels to Europe with her husband to visit relatives in Poland and beyond.


Since returning from just over a week’s vacation, I just thought I’d mention how much I love our new office. The layout, the light, the paint, the desks and chairs, just all of it….

Our sales person was very kind and helped us choose the important options on the chair and told us about things that may not be as important since we are a small non-profit and budget was certainly an issue. He told me at the end of our conversation that they offer free space planning service. He gave me Amie's name and told me that he would have her contact me. Amie and her staff were fabulous!! We gave them room sizes and what we would like to see in each office and they came back with a very professional (and did I mention, FREE) presentation of each office space. We loved it!!
